Install a MageKorp suite
Les applications MageKorp sont auto-hébergées : vous les installez sur un hébergement ou un serveur que vous louez, ou sur une infrastructure déjà gérée par votre organisation. Ce guide explique le parcours sans supposer que vous connaissez déjà l’administration d’un serveur.
01 · Hosting
Un hébergeur loue l’infrastructure sur laquelle votre application fonctionnera. MageKorp n’impose aucun fournisseur : l’important est que l’offre choisie respecte les prérequis du produit et vous donne un niveau d’administration adapté à vos compétences.
OVHcloud, Infomaniak, IONOS, Scaleway, o2switch ou tout autre hébergeur compatible. Ces noms sont donnés uniquement comme exemples : MageKorp n’impose ni partenaire ni offre commerciale.
The simplest option
Several websites share the same server and the hosting provider manages most of the system layer. This is often the simplest choice when a MageKorp suite is compatible with the plan limits.
More control
A virtual server is reserved for you. It is well suited when one environment needs to host several MageKorp applications or when you need precise control over PHP, the database and backups.
High requirements
The physical server is entirely reserved for your organization. This level is mainly useful for large volumes, multiple services or specific infrastructure constraints.
Managed or unmanaged
You or your provider must maintain Linux, the web server, PHP, the database, the firewall, certificates and backups.
Choose this if you know who will perform this maintenance.The hosting provider or another service provider handles all or part of the system maintenance. You can then focus more on using the suite.

02 · Address and HTTPS
A domain or subdomain lets you open the application from a simple address. Your hosting provider generally provides the interface for creating this address and pointing it to the server.

It is also required for certain browser features, including camera access used by scanning workflows. Most hosting providers offer a TLS certificate from their customer area.
03 · Prepare the server
Exact PHP versions, storage mode and special requirements may vary by suite. The product page remains the reference for technical prerequisites.
Vous ne savez pas si votre serveur est compatible ? The suite installer checks the main prerequisites before completing installation and reports what needs to be corrected.

An archive obtained from another website, third-party repository, sharing service or unknown source may have been modified, may be incomplete or may correspond to an older version.
MageKorp cannot guarantee the authenticity or integrity of a copy obtained outside its official channels and cannot be held responsible for alterations, additions or modifications made by a third party, subject to rights and responsibilities that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
Use this archive when the application is not yet installed on the server.
Use an update only when it states that it is compatible with your current version.
It may be officially hosted by MageKorp while still awaiting its signature. The portal states this explicitly and it remains excluded from automatic updates.
04 to 06 · Installation
From the suite's official page, choose the ZIP intended for a new installation. Keep the SHA-256 when one is provided if you want to verify the file.
Use your hosting provider's file manager or SFTP. Then extract the archive into the folder corresponding to the application's domain or subdomain.

The main prerequisites are checked. If something is missing, the installer must tell you what needs to be corrected before continuing.
When the suite uses a database, your hosting provider generally supplies the host, database name, user and password. Then create the administrator account and complete the guided setup.
Once installation is complete, log in with the administrator account, enable MFA when available, make an initial backup and check the update mechanism.

The installation process remains common, but a PHP version, storage mode or particular capacity may vary from one application to another.

Check the email address, password and permissions of the main account.
Enable MFA when offered to strengthen access to administration.
Create a backup and make sure it is stored in a genuinely protected location.
Plan the protection of the database, files and media according to the product being used.
Check available versions from MageKorp and read the compatibility information before each update.
